When working on the Web design assignment, I learned about inputting maps and pictures into Weebly, along with adding Links into the website design. My design was for a photographer, and I changed all the photos to adapt to my classroom and my preferences. When making my website, I used the design principle by alternating how I placed images and texts in the website by not putting all text together; I spaced it out with images to make it more appealing. I loved making the website and having creative freedom. It was hard to adapt to the software when making it, but it was a fun and informative project. I can use website design in the future if i ever start my own business to allow others to see my work

In the classroom I could teach the students about technology and make them scan the QR codes during a class project. that will allow them to pull up a video about a new type of technology then have them answer questions about it. i could also use QR codes as links to the lessons online so that student can go back through past lessons if they missed it or can review for tests with the past lessons. these ways may be a distraction to the student through out class though.

Ethical Problem:

You notice that one of your students, Liam, often forgets to bring his homework. Other students have started to complain that it’s unfair because Liam still gets to join in class activities even though he doesn’t turn in his work.

One day, you overhear Liam quietly telling a friend that he doesn’t have a quiet place to do homework at home because his family shares one small room and his parents work late.

Now, you must decide what to do.

What should you do as the teacher?

Should you hold Liam to the same rule and take points off for missing homework?

Should you give him different expectations or extra help — even though other students might think it’s unfair?

How can you support Liam while keeping the class rules consistent and fair for everyone?

I think it is fair in this ethical situation to offer liam to stay after class to work on homework or to have him work on homework before class or during recess. these option allow him time to get extra help from me as the teacher if he needs it and allows him the time to do his homework.  if he does not take these options and continues to not bring in completed homework i would tell him that he will get points taken off of his grade and see how we go from there. i think this is ethical because it gives liam options and if he chooses to not take the option then he will be choosing to get points taken off.
